Kurfürstenstraße is not a polished club hidden behind a discreet door, but Berlin’s best-known visible street-sex-work area. Where Tiergarten meets Schöneberg, contact begins quite literally on the pavement: sex workers approach passers-by or wait for clients, after which services, price and boundaries are agreed directly.
